S35C is a high-quality carbon structural steel under the Japanese JIS G4051 standard, with a chemical composition range of:
Carbon (C): 0.32% to 0.38%
Silicon (Si): 0.15% to 0.35%
Manganese (Mn): 0.60% to 0.90%
Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.030%
Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.035%
Chromium (Cr): ≤ 0.2%
Nickel (Ni): ≤ 0.2%
Copper (Cu): ≤ 0.3%
And Ni+Cr ≤ 0.35%
This component design ensures that the material has good strength, plasticity, and processability, making it suitable for manufacturing mechanical structural components that require heat treatment and cutting processing.
