15Mo3 is a pearlite heat-resistant low-alloy steel, and the chemical composition and mechanical properties parameters under mainstream standards are as follows:
1、 Chemical composition (mass percentage)
The mainstream standard range is consistent, with slight differences in impurity element limits. The core components are as follows:

Mn (manganese) 0.40% -0.80%
P (phosphorus) ≤ 0.030%
S (sulfur) ≤ 0.030%
Mo (molybdenum) 0.25% -0.35%
Cr (chromium) ≤ 0.30%
Ni (nickel) ≤ 0.30%
Cu (copper) ≤ 0.30%
Note: Some materials label the Cr content as 0.30% -0.70%, but the expression that complies with mainstream standards such as DIN and EN is ≤ 0.30%. The core difference lies in the subdivision of alloy grades.
2、 Mechanical performance
The core indicators required for standardization at room temperature are as follows:

Note: Molybdenum element 15Mo3 can improve high-temperature strength and creep resistance, and can maintain stable mechanical properties in high-temperature environments ranging from 450 ℃ to 500 ℃. Therefore, it is widely used in the manufacturing of boilers, high-pressure vessels, and high-temperature pipelines.
