Seamless Steel Tube Library: German Standard 13CrMo44 Chemical Composition and Mechanical Properties
The yield strength of steel with different specifications and sizes may be slightly adjusted: the yield strength is 295MPa when the diameter is ≤ 60mm, 285MPa when it is 61-90mm, and 275MPa when it is 91-150mm, while other indicators remain consistent.
This material has excellent high-temperature strength and creep resistance, with a long-term working temperature of up to 530 ℃, and is widely used in components such as boiler superheaters, manifolds, and petrochemical high-temperature pressure vessels.
Mechanical properties under conventional heat treatment conditions
Tensile strength Rm: 440~590 MPa
Yield strength Rp0.2: ≥ 275 MPa
Post fracture elongation A: ≥ 22%
Impact absorption energy AKV: ≥ 48 J
Brinell hardness HBW: 130~175
German standard 13CrMo44 (corresponding to material number 1.7335, implementing DIN 17155 standard) is a low-alloy chromium molybdenum heat-resistant steel, with clear standard limitations on its chemical composition and mechanical properties.
