41Cr4 (corresponding to domestic grade 40Cr, material number 1.7035 [4-5]) is an alloy structural steel that complies with the EN 10083 standard. International grades include 5140 from the United States, SCr440 from Japan (complying with JIS G4053-2003 standard [1-2]), 530A40 and 530M40 from the United Kingdom, etc. This material belongs to the commonly used quenched and tempered steel parts in the field of mechanical manufacturing, suitable for working environments with medium loads and speeds. It is widely used in the manufacturing of parts that require surface quenching, such as gears, shafts, crankshafts, etc

41Cr4 is an alloy structural steel that complies with the EN 10083 standard, with the following chemical composition and mechanical properties:
Chemical composition (by mass fraction):
Carbon C: 0.38% to 0.45%
Silicon Si: ≤ 0.40%
Manganese Mn: 0.60% to 0.90%
Phosphorus P: ≤ 0.035%
Sulfur S: ≤ 0.035%
Chromium Cr: 0.90%~1.20%
Nickel Ni: allowable residual content ≤ 0.030%
Copper Cu: allowable residual content ≤ 0.030%
